Didn't Receive E-mail

What do I do if my recipient hasn't received the email notification or I have not received the email purchase confirmation?

If your email gift card didn't go through for some reason, you can go to the My Account Section of the site and resend the giftcard yourself.

Click on My Account in the upper right hand corner of any page on the site. You can also click here: My Account

Once on the My Account page, login using your email and password. You'll be taken to a page showing all of your iCARD Gift Card orders. When you find the order with the gift card that had an issue, click on View Details. Then click on Resend. You can either resend it to the same email address or type in an alternate address.

Please be advised: some email programs may block our emails. Before you take the steps outlined above, you or your recipient may want to check your spam, junk or bulk mail folder for the delivered email. If the email is not in any of those folders, you or your recipient should:

  1. Save our email address, helpdesk@icardgiftcard.com in your address book.
  2. Put our email address in your safe senders list as well.

If your recipient is still unable to receive the email, we suggest trying an alternate email address.

Haven't Received Physical Merchant Card

It's been more than 10 business days since I redeemed my iCARD Gift Card for a physical gift card, and my merchant card is still not here. What should I do?

There could be several reasons that you have not received your merchant gift card yet. If it's been more than 10 business days, call or email us and put "Merchant Gift Card Not Received" in the subject line. You'll get a faster response if you also provide your confirmation code and the complete name and address the card was supposed to be sent to. We'll contact you to figure out how to make things right.

How Long Does it Take To Receive A Merchant Gift Card

I redeemed my iCARD Gift Card. How long will it take to receive my merchant gift card?

Merchant gift cards are typically sent within 24-48 business hours. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive physical cards and 48 business hours for electronic cards to be delivered to the email address you provide.

How To Redeem

How is an iCARD Gift Card redeemed?

  1. Go to the "Redeem" page: Redeem page
  2. Enter the claim code located on the bottom of your gift card (it has 8 numbers, a dash and 8 letters)
  3. Select a merchant and make sure that they have cards in the partial or whole amount of your iCARD Gift Card
  4. Provide your e-mail and create a password (this information is used to track your redemption process in the event that you contact our customer support team)
  5. Select the amount of your redemption (if you want more, you can add value to your card here)
  6. Provide the name, phone number and address (email or physical) the card should be sent to
  7. Wait for your gift card to arrive: 7-10 business days for physical gift cards; 48 hours for electronic codes

Why did I receive multiple codes

I redeemed my iCARD Gift Card. Why did I receive multiple codes?

You may receive multiple gift cards for your redemption. You will usually receive the exact denomination, but you may receive up to 6 gift cards that equal the dollar amount due to you. You should have no problem using the gift cards on the merchant's website. If you do not wish to use multiple codes over the merchant's site, they will usually allow you to place your order with them over the phone.

Haven't Received Electronic Merchant Redemption Code

It's been more than 2 business days since I redeemed my iCARD Gift Card for an electronic redemption code, and my merchant code email is still not here. What should I do?

There could be several reasons that you have not received your merchant redemption code yet. We normally do not send out codes on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. If it's been more than 2 business days, email us and put "Merchant Gift Card Not Received" in the subject line. You'll get a faster response if you also provide your confirmation code and the complete name and email address the card was supposed to be sent to. We'll contact you to figure out how to make things right.

Checking Redemption Status

How can I check the status of a redemption?

It's simple to check a redemption status.

Click the "My Account" link at the top of any page to login to your account. You can also click here: My Account

Once you've logged in to your account, click on the "My Redemptions" tab. Locate the redemption you are inquiring about. The redemption will be listed as In Process, Sent, Cancelled, or On Order. The definitions of the various statuses are as follows:

In Process: iCARD has received the details of your Redemption but it has not yet shipped.

Sent: Your item was sent via the delivery method indicated. Sent status will also display the date sent. Redemptions that have been sent cannot be cancelled or changed.**

Cancelled: Redemption was cancelled and the redemption amount credited back to the iCARD Gift Card.

On Order: We make every effort to keep sufficient inventory on hand for Redemption Orders. However, if we experience heavier volume than expected, redemptions may be delayed until we receive additional inventory from our suppliers. On Order delays typically last no more than 3 days. However, if you would like to change your redemption for another option that is currently in stock, please Contact Us.

Confirming that the recipient got the gift card

How can I confirm that my recipient received the gift card via email?

To confirm that your recipient received your email gift card, click the "My Account" link at the top of any page to login to your account. You can also click here: My Account

Once you've logged in to your account, locate the order that is associated with the Gift Card you wish to review and select "View Details" on the left. This will provide a list of the iCARD Gift Cards within your order and will show the status of each gift card. If the gift card is listed as "Opened" you can feel confident that your recipient received and read the gift card. If your recipient viewed the card in a preview pane on their ISP, our system may not register the card as "Opened" and it may still show as "Sent."

If you're not sure and you'd like to resend your gift card, click on the Resend link on the right hand side of the page. This will resend the Gift Card email.

Lost or Stolen Gift Card

What should I do if I think my Merchant Gift Card is lost or has been stolen?

Unfortunately, sometimes things get lost in the mail.

Merchant gift cards are typically sent within 24-48 business hours after the redemption has been received in our system. Please allow 5-10 business days to receive physical cards and 48 business hours for electronic cards to be delivered to the email address you provide.

Partial Redemption

What if I don't redeem for the total amount of my gift card?

Perhaps you received a $100 gift card but right now you just want to redeem $50 of it. If you process a partial redemption, your remaining value will be available for future redemptions for merchant gift cards. iCARD Gift Card will hold the remaining funds in your account until you return to Redeem use the balance. When you return to redeem the remainder of the iCARD Gift Card, you will use the same claim code provided to you initially. (iCARD Gift Cards have no expiration date and can be used at anytime.)

Redeeming Directly With A Merchant

Can I redeem my iCARD Gift Card directly with the merchant of my choice?

You cannot redeem an iCARD Gift Card directly with the merchant.

The iCARD Gift Card has been given to you so that you can select the merchant gift cards that you would like to receive. We have over 100 merchant partners in everything from department stores to restaurants to entertainment and more! Changing Merchants After Redeeming

Can I change the merchant I redeemed for? There was nothing on their site I liked.

Unfortunately, once a merchant card has been issued, it cannot be exchanged for a different merchant. We encourage you to make sure there is something you want at a given merchant before making your selection

Adding Value To A Card

I received an iCARD Gift Card with a value of $25 but I want to redeem for a $50 merchant gift card. Can I do that?

If you want to add value to your iCARD Gift Card to redeem for a higher value merchant gift card it's easy to do. In step 3 of the redemption process simply click on the "Add Value" link to the right of the gift card balance and enter your credit card details to increase the value that you can redeem for a merchant gift card.

Redeeming For More Than One Gift Card

Can I redeem for more than one Gift Card?

Recipients can always redeem for more than one gift card.

To redeem for more than one gift card, select the first gift card you want and then select a redemption amount. If you have money left on your gift card, you can redeem it at that time or save the remaining balance and use it another time. If you decide to save it for later, you simply need to return to the site and type in your original redemption code and you will be able to use the remainder of the balance.

Invalid 15 digit redemption code

The merchant code that was provided to me by iCARD Gift Cards isn't working. The merchant site tells me I need a 16 digit code and the code I have is 15 digits. What do I do now?

Don't worry. On many merchant check-out pages, there is a section labelled "gift certificate number" located below the section labelled "gift card number." Try the gift certificate option with your 15 digit code. It almost always works. If you continue to have problems you should contact the merchant's support center.

Received Wrong Merchant Gift Card

I received a merchant gift card but it's not the merchant I requested. What do I do?

First, you want to make sure there's a mistake. A number of our merchant partners have multiple brands. For instance, Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma gift cards, are interchangeable because they are part of the same parent company. Gap and Old Navy also share the same merchant gift card. Land's End and Sears have the same parent company as well. If it still looks like we inadvertently sent you the wrong merchant card, we will correct it. Please Contact Us and provide your confirmation code, details on which card you received and which card you requested, and we will work with you to correct it.

In order to log in, you'll need your email address and your password. If you don't have your password, click on the "Forgot your password?" link. If you provide your email address, we can provide you with password information.

Redeeming Gift Cards in Canada

Can iCARD Gift Cards be redeemed in Canada?

At this time, iCARD Gift Cards cannot be purchased by people with a non-U.S. address or redeemed at a non-U.S. location. If you order an iCARD Gift Card for a recipient who resides in Canada, they will only be able to use it when in the United States. There are a few e-merchant partners who will ship to Canada. If you purchase a card for someone in Canada, they will only be able to redeem with one of these merchants. The current iCARD Gift Card electronic merchants that ship to Canada are:

  • A sales representative will contact you to prepare an order form or invoice.

  • NASCAR
  • NHL.com

So if you're getting an iCARD Gift Card for someone in Canada, please be advised that their redemption options will be limited to those listed above.

Printing Gift Card: Changing Page Layout to Landscape

How do I change the Layout of the page from vertical to horizontal?

In Internet Explorer, go to File > Page Set-Up. Under "Orientation", you can choose either Portrait (vertical) or Landscape (horizontal). In Safari, go to File > Print. Hit the down arrow button to the right of the "Printer" field to expand the options. Select horizontal or vertical orientation where indicated

Gift Card Printing Error

My Gift Card is not printing correctly. The image and message are not lined up with the envelope, and/or the claimcode prints out on a different page.

Select File - Print Preview so that you see the entire iCARD Gift Card. Feel free to adjust the margins and omit the headers and footers to get the card contents to line up correctly. If you are still experiencing problems please Contact Us and one of our Customer Support Specialists should be able to assist you. Please remember to provide your name, the recipient’s name and email addresses.

Why am I getting a charge on my credit card?

$1 or $2 charge on my credit card

Why is there a $1 charge on my credit card statement?

As a security measure, we run a $1 authorization request on all credit cards used to make purchases. This lets us know that the card holder is who they say they are and that all of the information on the card matches what is on record for the account holder. After the authorization is complete, the system automatically refunds the $1 charge back to the cardholder but the refund takes up to 72 hours to be returned to the cardholder.

So if you see a $1 or $2 charge on your credit card, don't be concerned. The transaction will be reversed in the next 72 hours.

Changing email address on a greeting card

Can I change the email address on the Americangreetings.com greeting card I just sent?

If you'd like to change the email address on an iCARD Gift Card, you can change it yourself by going to the My Account section of the site. If you'd prefer we resend your card, you'll need to send us a message providing the Gift Card number, the current email address you set it to send to and the new email address you would like us to send to.

You can expect a physical merchant gift card to arrive in 5 to 10 business days. Electronic gift card codes will be emailed to you within 48 business hours. We keep a large inventory of our participating merchant cards in stock so we can fulfill any requests. However due to demand, sometimes we run low. If this is the case, your order should not be delayed by more than a few days.

Which merchants are in the program?

Our complete list of merchant partners is at Partners.

We have over 200 national and well-known merchants in categories such as restaurants, spas, clothing, sporting goods, entertainment and consumer goods. We're adding new merchants all the time so there is sure to be something for everyone. (Merchant lists are subject to change without prior notice.)

If you're getting one of our Dining & Entertainment Gift Cards through our partnership with American Greetings, you will have access to more than 75 dining, entertainment and travel options. The complete list of Dining & Entertainment merchant partners is at Dining & Entertainment Partners.

Please note: All merchants are available on the consumer site. If you receive a gift card as part of a survey rewards program or other corporate rewards program, your selection may vary. Please check with the program administrator to get information on which merchants are available.

Delivery & Handling Fees

Is there a gift card fee or a processing fee? What about a redemption fee for my recipient?

The Delivery And Handling Fees are

$3.95/card for cards with a value of $10 - $100
$6.95/card for cards with a value of $101 - $200
$9.95/card for cards with a value of $201 - $300

There are no fees charged to the recipient.

Delivery & Handling Fees cover the costs related to the email delivery of your personalized social expression templat and the recipients claim code, as well as fulfillment (via email or first class mail) of the recipients selected merchant gift card.

iCARD Gift Cards do not carry any other fees. There is no issuance fee, nor is there a monthly maintenance fee. iCARD does not charge fees for customer service calls and iCARD Gift Cards never expire.

Do iCARD Gift Cards Expire

No, iCARD Gift Cards never expire. In addition, the card does not lose value over time if not redeemed within a certain time period. However, once you redeem the card with a particular merchant, the merchant rules apply, and each merchant provides its own expiration date policies. Generally, merchant gift cards will be valid for at least 9 -18 months from the date of redemption if not longer.

How do I print the iCARD Gift Card so that I can hand deliver it or mail it to my recipient?

If you selected to print one or more iCARDS Gift Card(s) during the purchase process, you will be prompted to print once you have completed the checkout process. Simply click on the "Print" link displayed on the checkout confirmation page.

If you're not having success there, please send us the wrong address you originally provided and the right one we need to re-send to. Merchant Gift Card Delivery Process

How are merchant gift cards delivered?

For merchants that require the mailing of a physical card, the card is sent via the U.S. Postal Service regular mail. Our fulfillment center is located in Florida so if you live in the eastern part of the country, you may get your cards faster than if you live in California or the midwest. Please be sure to verify the mailing address (for a physical gift card) or the email address (for an online gift card). Email codes are usually sent via email within 48 business hours to the email address you provide.

When is order confirmation sent?

I have completed my order, when should I expect my iCARD Gift Card order or confirmation email?

You will receive your iCARD Gift Card order or confirmation email almost immediately after you complete your order. Every email client is different so if you do not receive the order confirmation it's possible you might have a program that blocks our emails. Please check your spam, junk or bulk mail folder for the delivered email. If the email is not in any of those folders, you or your recipient should:

  1. Save our email address, helpdesk@icardgiftcard.com in your address book.
  2. Put our email address in your safe senders list as well.
  3. Provide us with your confirmation code and the email you want the card sent to, and we can re-send it for you.

Refund Policy

Can I have a refund? I don't see a merchant that I am interested in redeeming for my iCARD Gift Card.

iCARD Gift Card does not provide refunds.

Gas Card Availability

Can I redeem for Gas Cards?

Currently we are not able to offer Gas cards on our consumer site. If you are a business interested in placing a large order of gas cards for use as an employee award, we are occasionally able to obtain gas cards in bulk. Please contact us at sales@icardgiftcard.com for more information.

An iCARD Gift Card is delivered via email to you or the recipient within minutes of a completed transaction. It can also be held in our system for delivery on a specified date. If you choose to email the iCARD Gift Card to yourself, it can be forwarded on to your recipient or printed for hand delivery.

Removing Headers and Footers When Printing A Gift Card

How do I remove the text at the top and bottom of the page?

In Internet Explorer, go to File > Page Setup. Make sure that the fields marked "Header" and "Footer" are blank. In Safari, go to File > Print. Hit the down arrow button to the right of the "Printer" field to expand the options. Uncheck the box "Print Headers and Footers".

Getting A Receipt

How Can I Get A Receipt for my Gift Card purchase?

The iCARD Gift Card site does not provide receipts. However, we do provide an Order Summary. To print your Order Summary, login to My Account. Once there, you will see a list of all the Orders you have placed. On the right, you can click on Print Order Summary to print out a summary of your order. Can I Buy A Specific Merchant Card?

Can I just choose a merchant and not leave the choice up to my recipient?

icardgiftcard.com is designed to give the recipient a choice in deciding which participating merchant gift card they want. However at our sister site, www.giftcardstop.com you can choose a specific merchant card for purchase. Merchant gift cards can only be received after a recipient redeems an iCARD Gift Card.

Buying A Gift Card

How do I place an order for a gift card?

  1. Go to the "Buy" page: Buy
  2. Select your gift card design and the amount
  3. Personalize your message for the recipient and decide whether you want to email it to them or print it out yourself and deliver it in person
  4. Finalize your purchase and check out via our secure online payment process

Can I print the Gift Card?

Do I have to send my iCARD Gift Card via email?

Gift cards can be sent out automatically via email or printed for physical distribution.

If you select to print one or more iCARD Gift Card(s) during the purchase process, you will be prompted to print once you have completed the checkout process. Simply click on the "Print" link displayed on the checkout confirmation page.

You can also print a copy of your iCARD Gift Card any time from your account. Click the "My Account" link at the top of any page to login to your account. Locate the order that is associated with the Gift Card you wish to print and select "View Details" on the left. This will provide a list of the iCARD Gift Cards within your order. Under "Actions" on the right hand column, click the "Print" link to print a copy of your Gift Card.

Custom Solutions - Limiting Merchants

In Our Corporate Rewards Program, can we limit which merchants are available?

iCARD Gift Card can create a co-brand redemption site for your employees. This site will have the "look and feel" of your company and can be designed to include only those merchants you desire. Corporate Gift Card Fees

What are the fees for corporate orders?

The standard processing fees for corporate orders are as follows:

$3.95 per gift card + 2.5% of the total purchase price for 1-99 gift cards
$2.95 per gift card + 2.5% of the total purchase price for 100-249 gift cards
$1.95 per gift card + 2.5% of the total purchase price for 250 gift cards or more.

Corporate Sales Contracts

We'd like to start a corporate rewards program with iCARD Gift Cards. Is a contract required?
